The Challenge
Go To Superior HVAC was losing potential jobs to larger competitors that had stronger visibility in the Google Maps 3-pack. Even though the company provided reliable HVAC services, its online presence was not strong enough to consistently capture high-intent local searches. Before the campaign, the Google Business Profile had limited optimization, minimal photo activity, weak service area targeting, and missing local relevance signals. The website also lacked strong location-specific pages, which made it harder to rank for searches like “HVAC Bluffton” and other service-based local keywords. During slower seasons, organic call volume dropped significantly because the business was relying too heavily on paid ads and referrals. The main challenge was to build a stronger local SEO foundation that could generate calls, bookings, and visibility from Google Maps and organic search throughout both peak and off-peak seasons.
